Diversity is increasingly becoming a business norm.
Japan has recently made some progress in promoting diversity. For example, it passed the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, and it is working to reform working styles. However, achieving sustainable diversity depends to a great extent on business strategy.
