The theme of this year’s Sustainable Brands conference is “Activating Purpose.” This session will explore the definition, function, and role of purpose. Since the 1980s, Proctor & Gamble Japan (P&G Japan) has made efforts to inculcate purpose among its employees. Similarly, Nestlé Japan has taken steps to ensure that its employees clearly understand the meaning of the company’s purpose. During this session, representatives from P&G Japan and Nestlé Japan will be welcomed to the panel to discuss purpose in depth. Sustainable Brands founder, KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, will also participate in the session.
